Imagine adjusting the lighting embedded in your bathroom mirror, operating the faucet hands-free, controlling the temperature of the shower, automatically filling the bathtub to the desired level and temperature, even regulating the features on an intelligent toilet – all with the sound of your voice.

Now, you can. Technology has come to the bathroom with the introduction of Kohler Konnect smart products that allow homeowners to operate light, sound, color and water through built-in voice control and preset apps.

It’s all on display at the Kohler Signature Store by Supply New England at 7 Tide. Behind these walls, you’ll discover a unique and comprehensive shopping experience featuring the latest state-of-the-art Kohler products. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet with experts in the Kohler brand who will guide you through the process of finding the products that best suit your lifestyle.

With the new Kohler Konnect application supported by iOS and Android devices, customers can now personalize their bathroom experience using only voice commands, thus tailoring their preferences, automating everyday tasks and staying on top of water usage.

Soon to be added to the displays at 7 Tide is Kohler’s Verdera Voice Lighted Mirror, the first bathroom mirror that has Amazon Alexa built in. Speakers are housed in hermetically sealed casings to maximize stereo sound quality; a nightlight is motion-activated for safety and convenience; and there are LED lights for when you’re applying makeup or shaving. It even includes synchronized intuitive lighting that chooses the ideal color temperature to mimic nature and help you sleep better.

The mirror can also be synched with other Kohler Konnect products so that customers can listen to the morning weather report while getting ready for work. With a simple voice command, they can also adjust the light and sound.

With the DTV + showering system, customers can modify water temperature, control showerheads and body sprays, and regulate music, lighting, steam and shower duration. There are 11 pre-programmed spa experiences designed to soothe your muscles, revitalize your mind or help you unwind.

Kohler’s intelligent toilets feature personalized settings that allow users to fine-tune everything from multi-colored ambient lighting and wireless Bluetooth music to the heated seat and foot warmer. A motion sensor also allows for touchless flushing to minimize the spread of germs.

Enjoy singing in the shower? Kohler’s Moxie showerhead has a built-in Bluetooth speaker. Play your favorite tunes without ever being subjected to a commercial.

At 7 Tide, customers can test all these revolutionary Kohler innovations in one of two “Experience Rooms,” and products can then be purchased on site.

Smart homes, using voice services and connected devices, have been with us for some time. But until now, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit were usually stationed on a kitchen counter or a living room table. With the new Kohler Konnect platform, technology has shifted to the bathroom. Whether you’re getting ready for work in the morning or calling it a night, Kohler’s pioneering products, paired with Kohler Konnect, are making the beginning and end of your day easier, more relaxing and more pleasurable.
